Watches with a built-in stopwatch. Longines' 13ZN arrived in 1936 with a flyback, which resets and restarts the timer with one press. The Speedmaster's column-wheel 321 gave way to the cam-switched 861 in 1968. Zenith unveiled the El Primero on 10 January 1969, a high-beat automatic at 36,000 vibrations per hour that also powers Movado's Datron HS360.
